Kurosawa mode is, in a word, breathtaking. Would anyone else like to see the ridiculous, unrealistic blood spray from old samurai cinema in Kurosawa mode? Alright first off the game is looks fantastic in its full glory, but there’s something about this mode that just makes the game 100% more atmospheric for me.To get the best of both worlds I have it off when ever I’m doing side missions/exploring then turn it on when ever I do a story mission. The black and white feels exactly like what I want playing as a samurai in feudal Japan....but I wish those cinematic bars that pop up for cutscenes stayed the entire mode.
