When Esther Williams worked at MGM in the '40s and '50s in a series of swimming musicals, movie stars didn't reveal the truth about themselves or their co-stars. She enrolled at Washington High School in Los Angeles where she graduated in 1939. Both of his legs were shattered and he had to relearn how to walk.
