Buy this if you love musicals!
Cats is one of my favourite musicals and always has been! Very disappointing. The overall image quality is absolutely unacceptable for a Blu-Ray disc.

Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. You will see it it a whole new light, unlike any live or previously recorded performance.

Altogether an extremely satisfying disk as the performance and the superb sound reproduction soon makes you overlook the imperfections of the video quality. of Cats truly is, and what a big impact on my life, it has made, and Elaine Paige, is one of the actresses who really steals the show!
Well worth buying, and I haven't even seen the special features yet! Just leaves me breathless!
Terrible video quality, it’s no better than the DVD. Unfortunately, it's not. This version also features the updated version of Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, which differs from the original West End recording (but I prefer this version anyway). A blu-ray re-mastered copy of a 30 year old recording, the quality is good dvd rather than 1080HD and suffers from it. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote. I absolutely love this musical!! Music is a very important part of a live stage production and the music for this production is fuller and enlarged.
The basic plot is about a tribe of cats meeting up & they call themselves "jellicle cats", and one of them shall be chosen as the special one.
What is the point of releasing this wonderful musical on Blu-Ray if there is no HD source material ?
Lovely, would have been better if recorded with a live audience and subtitles too for those of us who can't hear all the words, but still very entertaining "Memory" of course is the tear-jerker and never fails to make me cry. Please try againSorry, we failed to record your vote.

After seeing the new film in the cinema, my little one was singing the tunes and very interested in Cats the Musical.

This is also still being performed so I'm unclear as to why it's such an incredibly old rendition, I'd think they would have re-recorded it by now, I'm sure you can find bootleg filmings on youtube that are 100x better than this.
